Every Sunday a market is held in the town square which is also used for festive occasions to which all are invited. The streets of Palalda are safe for children and animals due to its
narrow walkways and inaccessibility for cars. There is a large car park
close to the apartment, 30 seconds walk away. Walk down to the footbridge and over the river to access the large Leader supermarket (10 mins) where you will also find a Chemist, Newsagent, Cafe, Beauty Parlour and more. ****************************** |

The beaches from Canet Plage to Collioure and further are all different, Canet Plage is large and very popular with lots of restaurants and entertainment for children. Argeles sur Mer is similar. Collioure is a place of historic interest and in-between these resorts are smaller beaches for naturists or those who prefer a quieter location. Visit Spain for duty free items, Le Perthus is well worth visiting, just on the border (about 18km from Palalda). ****************************** |
