| Directions to Palalda from Ceret on the D115 |
The village of Palalda can be seen on the right as you near Amelie Les Bains. Look for Leader Price (a large supermarket) on your left and a small roundabout next to it with Palalda signposted . Turn left and 1st right off the roundabout and over the old bridge, crossing the river Tech. When you reach the T junction at the end of the road, turn right onto Route du col du Fourtou and drive for 1.5 km up the hill. When you see the village on your right, continue to the top of the hill until you see a sign on the right hand side saying Maire, Eglise and Musee de Poste. Cross to the right and follow the road (Route de can Malcion) directly ahead and down to the bottom of the hill (do not turn off this road even if you think you are going away from the village). When you reach the bottom you will see some parking spaces on the left and a car park (P6)on the right, park wherever you can. Our house is just a short walk straight ahead, to the steps of Carrer del Bac (written as Carrer du Bac on the map). |
